Impressive private co-ed school in the Malvern area is seeking an experienced Teacher- Librarian to run the Middle School' s library.
Relevant teacher- librarian qualifications required as is Australian experience. Ideally you will have Middle School experience but this is not essential. VIT registration is essential.
The role of the Teacher Librarian is one that focuses on the development of literacy and information literacy skills in conjunction with providing support across the curriculum. Apart from managing the Library, the Teacher Librarian will work as a part of a team with other Library and Classroom teachers to determine Library policy and collaboratively develop curriculum programs. Creating a warm and vibrant environment in the Campus Library, is a major focus.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER (to commence Term 3, 2009)
